Accord Elementary Science Olympiad:

Instructor:  Mr. Sinnott

Coaches:  Mr. Lyons and Mr. Day

Club will meet every Monday after school from 3:15 to 4:00pm until April 18th.

Science Olympiad is a a national non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of K-12 science education to students.  The Science Olympiad will have team events that require students to compete.  All of the events require teamwork, group planning, and cooperation.  The emphasis is on learning, participation, interaction, and having fun!

Specific goals of the Science Olympiad are:

1. to bring science to life

2. to model and show how science works

3. to emphasize problem solving

4. to deepen students understanding of science concepts

5. develop team work and cooperative learning

The LSE Science Olympiad date for competition will be April 18th
